The EPoS Hosting module provides the means by which data can be transferred to and from shop based Back Office and EPoS Systems. Facilities are currently provided for interfacing with the Choise Store Back Office System and directly to the IPoS Tilling System. Hosting is also available for a number of third party EPoS Systems, including IRIS, Transxii, Visual Store and Global Store.

 

Out-Bound Hosting

The module receives data from the other Choise modules, such as Corporate Database and Price Administration, and re-formats the data into a form appropriate for the EPOS system to be hosted.

 

The functions addressed are as follows: -

1.      New / Replacement Line Transfer – the handling of additional product and EAN data.

2.      Product Maintenance – amendments to existing product records.

3.      EAN Maintenance – amendments to existing EAN records.

4.      Product Deletions – removal of Product & EAN records.

5.      Price Change Transfer – administration of price bands, special prices and promotional prices.

6.      Offers Transfer – amendments to multisave offers.

7.      Warehouse Despatch – Warehouse goods despatched to shops.

 

In-Bound Hosting

The module transfers information to other Choise modules, such as Shop Sales Statistics, Branch Charging and Shop Ordering & Distribution from data received from the hosted EPOS system.

 

Shop Sales Statistical information is received on the following: -

  1. Product Sales
  2. Offer Sales
  3. Departmental Sales
  4. Operator Sales
  5. Till Sales

 

The following is received for ordering /distribution, branch charging and accounting purposes: -

  1. Shop Orders on Suppliers
  2. Shop Orders on Warehouse
  3. Goods Received (Supplier Direct Delivery)
  4. Goods Received (Warehouse)
